Less noise at Farm Frites

BIS Industrial Services has made a contribution at Farm Frites in Oudenhoorn by keeping it within the limits of the legally allowable noise level. A number of pumps have been provided with a noise-dampening enclosure.

In mutual consultation with Farm Frites, several options were discussed to lower the noise level of a number of pumps. An acoustic assessment was carried out and suitable materials and the scope of the enclosure were determined. BIS carried out the whole project: advising, measuring, prefab making and mounting on the location. The enclosures have been equipped with a door and two removable panels and provided with the necessary maintenance. Part of the project was also placing an automatic suction for forced cooling. BIS has already carried out insulation work in the past on an order from Farm Frites, which specialises in making frites and potato specialities.
